Pictures Of Heaven

Absence of the sun and moon, no stars filling the sky.
The glow is faithful, ever present still, a purity no one can deny.
What is this euphoric place? A paradise reclaimed.
A timeless understanding, where tears and sorrows are tamed.
As endless as the imagination, the river of life flows.
Restoring all purity lost, with life's deadly throes.
A place of no more's....no pain and no anguish.
Hurt is non existent, no more feelings of languish.
No hunger or thirst, in the body will remain.
Innocence and purity, faith filled love will sustain.
There's a tree of life, in this paradise restored.
Bearing fruit of such beauty, it cannot be ignored.
Endless fields, and hills of green.
A comeliness, only seen in dreams.
Stunning waterfalls, a cottage on the mountain.
Exquisite scenes reflecting, off the life giving fountain.
Precious stones, jasper crystal clear.
Garnet lined paths, a gold filled mere.
Endless oceans, contoured by the mind.
Magnificent scenes in the distance, perfectly designed.
A gentle breeze perfumed, a delicate sweet scent.
Heightening ones awareness, of the heavenly ascent.
Symbolic gates sculpted. They can't be missed.
Pointing the direction, to life's eternal bliss.
Where angels dance and sing their melodies.
The birds join in, gracefully perched in the trees.
You can do what you please, whatever your heart desires.
It depends on what you want, nothing will you require.
Football being played, for the desire to have fun.
Knowing full well, all here have already won.
Or stitching a quilt that could cover the world.
But simply for pleasure, for in His warmth we are swirled.
Kids can play, running with pup or kitty.
You can go for a jog, without asking a committee.
If it's silence you want, to write a poem or read a book.
It's safe to say, you won't have far to look.
Heaven is whatever you dare to dream.
The path easy to find, step into the stream
Of life, forgiveness, hope, and love.
Given so freely from the maker above.

~MOTHER NATURE~

Looking out over the plans everything coming into view,
the mountains with their caps white with snow,
the river shows their reflections never to move.

An Eagle coming from her nest where her young cries out for food,
wildflowers growing around in the fields,
a fawn jumps over small rocks chasing butterflies.

His mother and father are near by
keeping and eye on him.
What more could one ask for than to see nature at its best?

So follow me my friends . . .
let us lay in the green meadow and watch the every scene play out.

Listen to the sounds of the Earth coming alive with new birth,
listen to the sounds of all that's around,
for this is the sounds of Mother Nature.

Half Dead

Somehow she lives without love and affection
No purpose in life, misguided direction
It's called survival, she keeps going on
No battle cry, no rally song
Her days are the same one after another
Boredom complete underneath which she smothers
A husband who sees but doesn't look deep
Some years ago she forgot how to weep
Without a doubt she's been mislead
Not truly alive, she must be half dead

The Winds of next October

Don't hurt then kiss me
Your breath smells of drink
Don't blink then miss me
I am only a child
I need to think
I want to shout ,but for your paws
Those giant paws with gentle claws
I hate the way you talk and fumble
I hate how you stumble
Then smile
Then you cradle me with booze and song

Your life was better not long ago
You flowered those days
But winters snow
Stole your dream and kept your soul
Sending you to lose your way
Over your lost horizon
Maybe I'm surmising , but

You threw me around the stars at Christmas
I kept a few in my pocket , they whisper
To wish again for you a new tomorrow
And put aside that Autumn sorrow
You took me to the moon and back
Dizzy in your arms I slept
Within your sleepy hollow

My Imagination knows no bounds
Let me breath clean and sober
Be the winds of next October
Run through my hair and breeze this heart
You are tearing me apart
I can find you through your pain
Mum left us in the winters rain
For me to turn the pages
But all the same , I love you dad
Further that emotion

I am strong but need your arms
Forget the drunken charms
What's real today is only your dream
In and out of whatever remains
Your reason smiles to cry at night
Anonymous to my plight
I burned the breakfast, let it burn
I tore my dress in the rain
I screamed at god in twisted pain
And wished for a new tomorrow
To turn the pages from this sorrow

My home works done and dinners burnt
Let it burn
Demons come before the sun
I hate you not being here
Lost in my equation
I am facing puberty
Homework and frustration
I hate my skirt ,this dirty skirt
Covered in grease and wasted meals
I need to rest and dream ,yes dream
Dream of the winds of next October
That will blow away our pain
And leave us clear and sober

Oh my love,

How swift I recall your lips counting memories sweet,
the sound of persuasions swaying heartshine beams.

My memory lingers over tingling words
spoken as lover's pensive worries -
thought strands, vulnerable as timorous doves.

I should have known that your heart does too!

Morning's thrill, and I awakened slumbered well to caresses
that bind hands and mind to your masterful tenderness.

I'm hopelessly caught neath your command
and without you, I would be as one stranded -
I'm yours, to have and to be, oh my love . . . .

Stinky food
Sitting in the coffee room
With several women in a brood
Then someone starts cooking
A plate of stinky food

No consideration for others
And whether they like the smell
Its this odder just like cow muck
Mixed in with some curry as well

It’s the tuna and the broccoli
Or something involving rice
That leaves a cloud A’ hanging
Believe me it far from nice
It’s all those stinky odours
That lingers round the place
Making you wonder if it’s safe
Or could it kill without a trace
Still it doesn't last for ever
It will soon fade away
Look forward to the stinky food
They will bring another day

Growing Up

Tender bud.
Green and clear,
fresh, untutored
strength without fear.
Pushing through the
tarmacked road.
Undamaged through tenacity;
between a rock and
a hard place.
Your greenness shines
until - dulled by the long road's
dusty patina,
you age into adulthood.
