July 2008 2nd Place Acrostic~ Mpoet  Canadian Can you feel the evening breeze As you watch the sun sink behind the trees? Nothing beats the end of a long day. Alone and quiet on the front steps relaxing away Dreamily watching, your head in your hands - Invisible are the thoughts of lifes demands. Another enjoyable sight, watching the day turn into night Never a doubt that everything will be alright. July 2008 3rd PLACE ACROSTIC ~ Michelle  Sunshine and Bubbles (inspired by Dori) S cents of sweet rose filling the air. U nder the sun, kissing my skin so fair. N ew morning dew saturates my feet. S ilence breaks with the singing birds treats. H ummers feeding as they gracefully hover. I nnocence protected by natures delicate cover. N ever could one duplicate this scene. E legance I can only create in a dream. A live with enthusiasm for the new day ahead. N o weariness, no desires to go back to bed. D edicated to embracing the new day instead. B eauty surrounds in the gifts of the day. U nmasked by the glow from the illuminating rays. B irds and butterflies whisping through the skies. B ubbles floating, filling my eyes. L ove is all around, I have nothing to fear. E nveloped in this love I'll forever hold dear.
